Our Second Knitathon to take place February 5th!

Well, we certainly learned a lot from last year's Knitathon. This year we'll be doing things a little differently.

Instead of a 3 month long, individual project, we'll be having a one-day Knitathon Extravaganza!

There will be a stash sale and projects for kids in addition to our Knitathon. Knitters are encouraged to sign up friends and family beforehand to pledge their support at the rate of one penny per stitch. Then come and see how much you can knit during the Knitathon! A fantastic prize will go to the knitter who knits the most. Another will go to the knitter with the most sponsors. Everyone will have a blast!

All knitted pieces will be attached into a long art piece that will be hung publicly in the community as a symbol of our celebration of all mothers everywhere. The names of knitters and sponsors will be listed next to the project.

We are still looking for a location, so if anyone has a public place that they think would be great for this event, let us know!

Stay posted for more details.
